"Trolling for Monarchs"  Monarch Researcher working to gather his Monarchs at our Pasture

Northwest DeWitt County, 15 miles west of Cuero, 60 miles ESE of San Antonio.

Monarch researcher had come to the pasture to gather live specimen of remigrant

monarchs ... did well yesterday ... but stepped on two mesquite thorns that broke

off in his foot ... today we drove him around so he could get the minumin he

needed ... made it plus one.

When they get down onto the Asclepias asperula that is in that dry broom weed ...

you have two choices ... drive them out, or forget that one ... frustrating ...
